Power to construct additional works. - If the Corporation is of opinion that the works and other properties for the time being vested in it for the purpose 78 Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976, Section 182 of water supply, drainage and sewage disposal are inadequate for the purpose of sufficient supply of water or for the purpose of proper drainage and efficient dis- posal of sewage under this Act, it may take steps in accordance with the provisions of this Act for the construction of additional works, whether within or without the local limits of the Corporation and for the acquisition of additional properties for such works.
