Duties of municipal Police enrolled under Act V of 1861:- If the estab- lishment maintained under this chapter or any portion thereof consist of part of the general police force, the State government may notwithstanding anything contained in Act V of 1861, or in any other Act for the time being in force, define, subject to the provisions of this Act, the duties which the officers and men of the establishment or such portion thereof may or may not be required to perform.
