(1) Every employee of the University shall be appointed under a written contract, which shall be lodged with the University and a copy of which shall be furnished to the employee concerned: Provided that the University may outsource its manpower requirement. The outsourced manpower shall not be employees of the University: Provided further that those employees, who are on deputation with the University, their terms and conditions of employment shall be such as approved by the Government. (2) Any dispute arising out of the contract between the University and any employee shall, at the request of the employee, be referred to the Executive Council, which shall be decided within sixty days. (3) An appeal against the orders of Executive Council shall lie to the Governing Body. (4) The decision of the Governing Body shall be final. (5) Every request made by the employee under sub-section (2) shall be deemed to be a submission to the Executive Council. PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ.
