(1) The annual accounts and balance-sheet of the University shall be prepared under the directions of the Executive Council and shall, at least once in a year and at intervals of not more than fifteen months, be audited by the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India or by such persons as the Government may authorize in this behalf. (2) A copy of the annual accounts together with the audit report thereon shall be submitted to the Governing Body and the Government along with the observations of the Executive Council. (3) Any observations made by the Government on the annual accounts shall be brought to the notice of the Governing Body and the observations of the Governing Body, if any, shall, after being considered by the Executive Council, be submitted to the Government. (4) The Government shall, as soon as may be, cause the copy of the annual accounts together with the audit report to be laid before the Legislative Assembly of the State. (5) The audited annual accounts after having been laid before the Legislative Assembly of the State shall be displayed on the website of the University.
