This Act may be called the Punjab Legislators (Allowances and short title. Amenities) Modification Act, 1982. 2 In the Punjab Legislative Assembly (Allowances of Members) Act, Amendment (6) in section 4-C, in sub-section (1), (a) in section 4-A, in the proviso to sub-section (2), for the words "three 1942. thousand and six hundred rupees", the words four thousand and eight hundred rupees'" shall be substituted ; (i) in clause (a), for the words one lac rupees", the words one lac and twenty-five thousand rupees" shall be substituted : and (ii) in clause (b), for the words forty thousand rupees", the words seventy thousand rupees shall be substituted.
