Revenue officers.— (1) There shall be the same classes of Rev- enue Officer under this Act as under the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887, (XVII of 1887) and in the absence of any order of the [State] (Subs. for the word "provincial" by the Adaptatibn of Laws Order. 1950) Government to the contrary. a Revenue Officer of any class having jurisdiction within any local limits under that Act shall be a Revenue Officer of the, same class having jurisdiction within the same local limits under this Act. (2) The expressions "Collector" and "Financial Commissioner" have the same meaning in this Act as in the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887, (XVII of 1887).
