Short title, extent and commencement. -- (1) This Act may be called the Punjab Industrial Housing Act, 1956. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the Punjab/Haryana. (3) It shall come into force in such areas as may be specified by the State Government from time to time by notification in the official Gazette.
