No act done, or proceedings taken, under the Act by any authority or any other body of the University shall be invalid merely on the ground of any:- (a) vacancy or defect in the constitution of the authority or body; (b) defect or irregularity in nomination or appointment of a person acting as a member thereon; and (c) defect or irregularity in such act or proceeding, not affecting the merits of the case.
