(I) As soon as may be, after the commencement of this Act, the State Govanmem shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, establish for * the purposes of this Act, an Authority to be known a.s the Punjab Herd. Registratic* Authority. (2) The Authority established under sub-section (I),.shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal with the power jo acquire, iiold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable and to contrad and shall, by the said name, sue and be sued.
