No act done, or proceedings taken under this Act, by any authority of the University, shall be invalid merely on the ground.— (a) of any ambiguity or defect in the constitution of the authority, or (b) of any defect or irregularity in nomination or appointment of a person acting as a member thereof; or (c) of any defect or irregularity in such act or proceedings, not affecting the merits of the case.
