(1) There shall be established a University by the name of the be Linversity Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Punjab having jurisdiction in the whole of the State of Punjab. (2) The University shall be a body corporate by the name, specified in sub-section (/), and shall have perpetual sucession and common seal. It shall have the power to acquire, hold and dispose of property both movable and immovable, and shall sue and be sued by the said name. (3) The headquarters of the University shall be at Hoshiarpur or at such place, as may be specified by the Government by notification in the Official Gazette. Objects of the
