The following shail be the officers of the University, namely :— Dhcineh niversity. (i) the Chancellor ; (ii) the Vice-Chanceilor; (iii) the Deans : (iv) the Registrar : (v) the Controller of Examinations ; (vi) the Finance Officer ; and (vii) such other officers of the University, as may be prescribed. il. 71) The Governor of Punjab shall by virtue of his office, be the The Chancellor. Chancellor of the University. (2) The Chancellor shall be the Head of the University and shall, when present, preside at the convocation of the University. : (3) Honorary degrees shall be conferred by the University upon any person with the approval of the Chancellor. (4) The Chancelior shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties, as may be conferred upon him under this Act or the statutes made thereunder.
