(1) The Director of Students’ Welfare-cum-Estate Officer of Siders’ the University shall be a whole time officer of the University and shall be Wellare-cum- Estate Officer appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board. (2) The aforesaid Director shall have the following duties, namely :— (a) to make arrangements for the housing of students : (6) to make programmes of students’ counselling ; (¢) to arrange for the employment of students in accordance with the plans, approved by the Vice-C hancellor : (d) to supervise the Cxtra-curricular activities of students ; fe) to assist in the placement of graduates of the University ; and (f) to Organize and maintain contact with the Alumni ol the University. ) PUNJAB GOVT GAZ.
