(1) The Academic Council shall consist of the following members namely:– (a) the Vice- Chancellor; .. Chairperson (b) one eminent academician nominated .. Member by the State Government as its representative; and (c) such other members as may be prescribed. .. Members (2) The Academic Council shall be the principal academic body The Board of Management. The Academic Council. PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), AUGUST 21, 2014 (SRVN 30, 1936 SAKA) 93 of the University and it shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, the statutes, the ordinances and the regulations, coordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University. (3) The quorum for meeting of the Academic Council shall be such, as may be prescribed.
