Any Fire Officer authorised by general or special order in this behalf may, for the purpose of discharging his duties under this Act, require the owners or occupiers of any building to supply information with respect to the character of such building, the available water supplies, means of access thereto and any other material particulars relating to fire prevention and life safety measures for such building, and such owner or occupier shall furnish all the information in their possession.
