Statement after arrest. Disclosure statement is not admissible unless the accused per- son is in police custody. Portion of the statement made by accused to the police is rendered admissible by the law, purely because of the discovery of a relevant fact to which it led, and not because it inherently amounts to any confession of a crime. Consequently, the question whether it was voluntarily made after arrest, or whether accused was earlier under police in- fluence for some time, is really not material.
