(1) The term of office of members other than the Ex-officio Members, shall be 2[one year.] (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), a member whose term of 6[one year]has expired shall, unless the State Government otherwise directs, continue to hold office till his successor is nominated.
