(])The firstordinances madeunder sub-section (2) ofsection28 may beamended, repealed or added to at any time by the Executive Council in the manner specified in the following subsiauses. (2)No Ordinances in respect ofthe matters enumerated in sub-section (I)ofsection28 of this Act shall be made by the Executive Council unless a draft of such Ordinances has been proposed by the Academic Council. (3) The ExecutiveCnuncil shall not have power to amend any draft of any Ordinances proposed by the Acadenlic Council under clause (2), but may reject the proposal or return the draft to the Academic Council for reconsideration, either in whole or in part, together with any amendment which the Executive Council may suggest. (4) Where the Executive Council ha. rejected or returned the draft of an Ordinances proposed by the Academic Council, the Academic Council may consider the question atiesh and in case the original draft is reaffirmed by a majority of not less than two-thirds of the members presemand voting and more than hilfthe total number ofmembers ofrhehcademic SEC. (5) Every Ordimces made bytheExecutive Council shall come into e h immediately. (6)Every Ordinances made by the Executive Council hall be submitted to theVisitor within m o weeks from the date of its adoption. (7) t he Visitor shall have lhe power to direct the University to suspend the operation of any Ordinances. (8)TheVisitor shall inform the ExecudveCouncil about his objation to the Ordinances referred to in clause (7) and may,after receiving the comments of the University, either withdraw the order suspending the Ordinfinces or disallow the Ordinances, and his decision shall be final. 38..(1) The authorities of the University may make Regulations consistent with this Act, the Statutes and .!heOrdinances for the followingrnatters, namely:- Regulations. (1) laying down the procedure to be observed at their meetings aad the number of members required io form a quorum;, (14 providing for all matter-which are required by this Act, the Statutes or the Ordinances to 6prescribed by Regulations; and (iii) providing for all other matter$ solely concerning such authorities or' committees appointed by them and not providd for by this Act, the Statutes or the Ordinances. (2) Every authority of the University shall make Regulations providing for the giving of notice to the members of such authority of the dates of meeting and of the business to be considered at meetings and for the keeping of a record of the proceeding of meetings. (3)The Executive ~ouncil may direct the amendment in such manner as it may specify of any Regulation made under the Statutes or the annulment of any such Regulation. ...
