(1) The Chief Finance and Accounts Officer shall be appointed by the Chancellor in such manner, as may be prescribed. (2) No person shall be qualified to be appointed as Chief Finance and Accounts Officer, unless he has passed the Chartered Accountancy Test conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. (3) The Chief Finance and Accounts Officer shall exercise such powers and perform such functions, as may be prescribed.
