(1) This Act may be called the Punjab Bhondedar, Butemar, Dohlidar, Insar Miadi, Mukarraridar, Mundhimar, Panahi Qadeem, Saunjidar, or Taraddadkar (Vesting of Proprietary Rights) Act, 2020. (2) It shall come into force on and with effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. (3) This Act shall be applicable to occupiers of land who or their predecessors in interest have been recorded as Bhondedar, Butemar, Dohlidar, Insar Miadi, Mukarraridar, Mundhimar, Panahi Qadeem, Saunjidar, or Taraddadkar for a period of at least twenty years on the appointed day.
