Definitions. - In this order unless the context otherwise requires, - (a) "Act" means the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976; (b) "Associate member" means a person associated under sub-clause (2) of clause 3; (c) "Board" means the Delimitation Board constituted under rule 3; (d) "Constituency" means a ward, for the representation of which a councillor to be or has been elected; (e) "Member" means a member of the Board; (f) "Population" mean the population as ascertained locally through the staff deputed by the Director by going from door to door in the city; and (g) "Section" means a section of the Act.
