Speaker not to practice any profession. – The Speaker shall not practice any profession or engage in any trade or receive any money for employment other than his duties as Speaker. *[5. Salary and allowances, etc., of the Deputy Speaker . – (1) The Deputy Speaker shall be paid a salary of eight thousand rupees per mensem. (2) The Deputy Speaker shall also be paid, – (a) compensatory allowance of ten thousand rupees per mensem; (b) contingency allowance of three thousand and five hundred rupees per mensem; and (c) constituency allowance of five thousand rupees per mensem.
