- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the Puducherry Monts de Piete Institutions (Abolition) Act, 1969
- S. 2In this Act, “Government” means the Administrator appointed by the President under article 239 of the Constitution
- S. 3The section abolishes Monts de Piete Institutions established under specified ordinances and orders.
- S. 4Section 4 protects the government and authorized persons from legal actions for good faith actions under this Act.
- S. 5Repeals old ordinances and arretes, transferring pending proceedings to Deputy Collector or tahsildars for disposal.
