Cognizance of offences

Cognizance of offences.—(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), every offence under this Act shall be cognizable and bailable. (2) An offence under this Act shall be tried summarily by a Magistrate. 9 CHAPTER VII MISCELLANEOUS
