Where by act of parties or by operation of law, the interest of the tenant in his holding has been severed, splitting up the holding into two or more parts, or where a portion of the holding has been sub-leased, and there is dispute as to the contract rent payable in respect of any such part or, as the case may be, the portion retained by the tenant or the portion sub-leased, the Land Tribunal may, on application by any person interested, determine the contract rent payable in respect of each such part or portion, as the case may be, on the basis of the normal produce from each such part or portion]. (1) A landlord or any person claiming under him may apply to the Land Tribunal in such form as may be prescribed for recovery of arrears of rent due to him from his tenant.
