(1) The Board may, whenever, it is necessary or expedient so to do, establish a housing unit in such area as may be specified by it by notification in the Official Gazette for the efficient performance of its functions in that area. (2) The housing unit shall form part of the establishment of the Board and shall consist of such officers and other employees as may be considered necessary by the Board. (3) The housing unit shall be in charge of an officer who shall be under the administrative control of the Chairman and shall also exercise such powers and perform such duties and functions as may be delegated to him by the Chairman under section 12.
