(1) Every public notice required to be given under this Act or any rule or regulation made or scheme sanctioned thereunder shall be in writing and signed by the Chairman and shall be given publicity in the locality likely to be affected thereby, by any one or more of the following modes, namely: - (i) by affixing copies thereof in conspicuous public places in the said locality, or (ii) by beat of drum in the said locality, or (iii) by publishing the notice in leading daily newspapers in circulation in the said locality, or (iv) by any other mode which the Chairman may deem fit. (2) Every notice under sub-section (1) shall also be affixed on the notice board of the Board’s head office or sub-office. Publication in leading daily newspapers
