Save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act or the rules made thereunder, nothing in this Act shall – (a) affect any honour, emolument or perquisite to which any person is entitled by custom in any religious institution or its established usage in regard to any other matter; or (b) authorise any interference with the religious or spiritual functions in any institution.
