Instruments of gaming may be ordered to be destroyed on conviction. – On conviction of any person for keeping a common gaming-house or being present therein for the purpose of gaming, all the instruments of gaming found therein may be destroyed by the order of the Magistrate, and such Magistrate may order all or any of the other articles seized, or the proceeds thereof, to be forfeited.
