Power to exempt registered societies.- Without prejudice to the power conferred by section 159, the Government may, by general or special order with effect from such date as may be referred to in the said order exempt under special circumstances to be prescribed any registered society from any of the provisions of this Act or may direct that such provisions shall apply to such society with such modification as may be specified in the order.
