Registrar and other officers to be public servants.- (1) The Registrar or a person exercising the powers of the Registrar or any person authorised by him under any provisions of this Act shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (Central Act 45 of 1860). 120 (2) Every paid officer or employee of a registered society shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (Central Act 45 of 1860).
