Abolition of Conseil du Contentieux Adminsratif. – (1) As from the commencement of this Act, the Court of Conseil du Contentieux Administratif shall stand abolished. (2) Notwithstanding such abolition, all cases pending before the said Court immediately before such commencement and those cases that may be remanded by the High Court in exercise of its powers as Conseil d’ Etat, shall be heard and disposed of by the District Judge or an Additional District Judge sitting singly in accordance with the procedure followed immediately before the commencement of this Act in so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act.
