(1) The Academic Council shall be the Chief Academic Authority of the Board and shall consist of the following members, namely:- (i) the Chairman of the Board as ex-officio Chairman; (ii) three members to be nominated by the Chairman of the Board from amongst the ex-officio members referred to in clause (i) of sub- section (1) of section 13; (iii) three members to be nominated by the Chairman from eminent educationist; (iv) one member to be nominated by the Chairman of the Board from amongst the nominated members referred to in clause (ii) of sub- section (1) of section 13.
