Consent of State Government to exercise of powers and jurisdiction

Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to enable the police of one [State] to exercise powers and jurisdiction in any area within another [State], not being a railway area, without the consentof the Government of that other [State]. Ins. by the A.O. 1937. Subs. by the A.O. 1950, for "Province".
