(1) This Act may be called the Personal Injuries (Compensation Insurance) Act, 1963. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date1 as the Central Government may by notification appoint. Came into force on 01/11/1965, vide S.O. 3382, published in the Gazette of India, Extra.,Pt. II, Sec. 3 (ii), dated 30th October, 1965.
