Where the Leader of the Opposition or the Chief Whip who opts under section 9C to receive the allowances, amenities and other benefits to which a member of the Legislative Assembly is entitled under this Act, desires any additional amenities by letter addressed to the, Speaker, he shall be entitled to such additional amenities as may be specified in this letter, not exceeding the amenities which he would have been entitled as the Leader of Opposition or the Chief Whip, as the case may be.
