[x x x x] Omitted by Act 9 of 1992 and it ran as follows: 7A.- Salaries, allowances, etc., if Deputy Speaker, while performing, duties of Speaker, during vacancy of office if Speaker.- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, while the office of Speaker is vacant and the duties of the office are performed by the Deputy Speaker as provided in clause (1) of Article 180 of the Constitution of India, the Deputy Speaker, shall, during the period he so performs such duties be entitled to the salary and allowances and the use of furnished residence and conveyance, in the same manner, to the some extent and subject to the Same conditions as the Speaker is entitled to under section 4, section 5, sub-section (3) of section 6 and section 7 and during the period aforesaid the Deputy Speaker shall not be entitled to the salary and allowances attached to the Office of Deputy Speaker.
