Section 147

Protection of action taken in good faith.

No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against— (i) the Central Government; (ii) a State Government; (iii) a Social Security Organisation; (iv) a competent authority; (v) any officer or staff of a Social Security Organisation; or (vi) any other person or authority, discharging the functions or exercising the powers under this Code, for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Code or of any rules, regulations or schemes made or framed thereunder.
