' (2) A mmber, other than the Revcnuc Divjsionel Commissioner and the Chlef Eaecutive Officer, may, by writing under his hand, addressed to Government resip from the ofice of the Chairman if he is the Chairman or, as the case may be, from $8 o5ee as member, and tho member so resigning shalI be deemed to have vacated his . . office as Chairman or, as the case may be, as member with effect from the date his - . (4) When the office of a member including the Chairman becomcs vacant by big resignation, removal, death or otherwise. the vacancy shall be med up in the ~ame manner in which he was taken. (g The Chairman of the Council shaII enjoy the status of a Minister of the State ofOrissa and shall be entitled to such remmeralion add allonances' as may bs, prescribed.
