Notwithstanding anything contained in section 50 of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology Act, 2002, the geographical area of the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology established under this Act shall stand excluded from the jurisdiction of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa, from the date of issue of notification under sub-section (1) of section 3 of this Act.
