(1) This Act may be called the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology Act, 2008. (2) It shall extend to the geographical areas of the University College of Engineering, Burla and such other areas within the jurisdiction of Burla Notified Area Council as the State Government may notify. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification appoint. Short title, extent and commence- ment.
