Recovery of amounts payable under Sections 38 and 40 :– Without prejudice to the provisions contained in Section 42, all amounts payable under Section 38 or Section 40 shall be recoverable in the manner provided in Sections 421 and 422 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, as if each such amount were a fine imposed on any offender by a court.
