(1) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (2), the persons who are graduates of the University shall be entitled to have their names entered in the register of registered | graduates or deemed registered graduates, maintained by the University. A (2)Every person who intends to be a registered graduate shall make an application to the | Registrar in such form and make payment of such fees, as may be prescribed by the Statutes and the Registrar shall, after making such inquiry as he thinks fit, decide whether the person is entitled to be a registered graduate. 3 Ll (3) If any dispute arises as to whether a person is entitled to have his name entered in a ff’ fil the register of graduates, it shall be decided by the Vice-Chancellor after making or ?;: :pi causing to be made such inquiry as he thinks fit and his decision shall be final. 1!; g' (4)The Chancellor may, on the recommendation of the Board supported by a majority of il; ?fl not less than two-third of its members present at its meeting but such majority 4" comprising not less than one-half of total members of the Board, remove the name of §| 1 any person from the register of graduates for such period as the Chancellor thinks fit, if % such person has been convicted by a court for any offence which, in the opinion of the b Board, is a serious offence involving moral turpitude. (5) No action under the sub-section (4) shall be taken unless the person concerned is given an opportunity of being heard. CHAPTER IX FINANCE
