(5) On receipt of a cornmunicatjon frl,!n the Cha~lccllor, the Board shall consider thc same and inform the Chancellor as soon as may be, the details of tI~c i~ction it proposes to lakc and tlle action, if any, taken in pursuance of such communication. (6) If rile Board docs not, within a reasallable time, take action ro the satisfaction of the Cl~ancello;., he may, after considering any explanation furnished or representatim made by the Board, issue such directions as he may think fit and thc Board shall be bound t o comply with such directions. (7) The Chancellor may, whenever he tb inks it necessary, call for fhe proceedings of the Board or a report on any matter concerning the Uoiversity from the Board who shall be bound to furnish the same. (8) No honorary degree shall be conferred an any 2erson without the approval of the Chancellor.
