(1) Each of the extant Highways included in the Schedule is hereby declared to be a state highway under this Act. (2) The State Government may, by notification, declare any road to be a state highway under this Act and on the publication of such notification such road shall be deemed to be included in the Schedule. (3) The State Government may, by notification, omit any highway from the Schedule and, on the publication of such notification, the highway so omitted shall cease to be a state highway under this Act.
