(1) Every Authority' under this Act shall cause p r o p accounts and other and audit. records in relation thereto to be kept, inchding :the proper system of interpa1 . . check, and prepare an annuaI statement of accounts, including the income and ' expenditure account and the balance sheet, in such form as may be prescribed by regulatj 011s. (2) The accounts of every Authority undcr this Act shao bc audited by such permns as may be appointed by the Government and any expenditure incurred in connection with such audit shall .be payable by the concerrled Authority to the Govmnment, Insmion
