(1) The State Government may on recommendation of the Board, remove any member of the Board or Committee,if he has been convicted by a court of law, of any offence which in the opinion of the Board, is a serious offence involving moral turpitude or if he has been found guilty of gross misconduct : Provided that no recommendation for the removal of any member shall be made by the Board unless the person concerned is given a reasonable opportunity to be heard. (2) The name of any member who has been removed from the Board or Committee under sub-section (1) shall be published in the Gazette.
