Short title, extent and commencement :– (1) This Act may be called the Orissa Reservation of Vacancies in Posts & Services (for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Act, 1975. (2) It shall extends to the whole of the State of Orissa. (3) It shall come into force on such dates as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in that behalf.
