(lj Subject to the provisions ol lhis Acl and Ihe Statutes, the Ordinances Ordinance. may provide for all or any ol the following malters, namely:- (a) the admission of students to the University, the courses of study and the fees therefor, the qualifications pertaining lo degrees, diplomas, certificates and other academic dislinctions. the conditions for the grant of lellowships, awards and the like; (b) the conduct of examinations, including the terms ol ollice and appoinlment of examiners and the conditions of residence of student and lheir general discipline; ..I . (c) management of the DeparlmentslSchools of the University; and (d) any other matter which, by this Acl or Ihe Statutes, is to be or may be provided for by the Ordinances. (2) The first Ordinance shall be made by Ihe Vice-Chancellor with the prior approval ol the Slale Government and the Ordinance so made may be amended, repealed or added to at any time by Ihe Execulive Council in the manner prescribed by the Statutes.
