(71 The Registrar shall be appointed by Ihe Chanceltor on tenure basis for a period of three years on the recommendation of the state Government. He shall be a whole time officer oi lhe concerned Universily and shal! act as a member of the Senate, Execulive Council and the Academic dourikil of the Univetsity. No person will be appointed as the Registrar of the University unless helshe is holding the post 01 a Professor or Senior Reader or any equivalent post with at least fifteen years of experience in research, teaching and educational admimistration including five years teaching experience in postgraduate classes or who is a member of Indian Adminis1rativ.e ServicelOrissa Administrative Service not below the rank of Deputy Secrelary to Governmenl. . : (2)The Registrar shall subject lo the control of the vice-chancellor- (a) manage the properties and investments 01 the University; ,I (b) remain in custody of the properties and funds of the Universily; (c) remain in custody oj Ihe rmords, the common seal and such other properly of (he Universily as the Vice-Chancellor shall commit to entrust him; , ., , . , f . .
